In January 2002, Dr. James C. Burden started the Dental Center at Seabrook Village. The mission of this practice is to provide the residents of this Erickson Community with better access to modern, excellent, and affordable dental care. The practice focuses on early intervention of dental diseases, minimally invasive procedures, and a multi-disciplinary approach to treatment planning. This unique practice, located within the Medical Center of Erickson's Seabrook Village community in Tinton Falls, New Jersey, provides on-site general dentistry to its almost 1400 independent residents. Almost all care is provided directly in our state-of-the-art facility. Services typically include "fillings", crowns and bridges, root canals, full and partial denture fabrication and repair, extractions, periodontal therapy and maintenance, extractions, implants, and enhanced oral cancer screenings using Vizilite® and OralCDx®. For treatment that requires evaluation by a dental specialist, there are a number of local professionals who have worked successfully with our patients. The office currently includes three general dentistry operatories each equipped with networked computers, intra-oral cameras, digital x-ray viewing, Dentrix® practice management software, and many other modern dental technologies. Our incorporation of Soft-Tissue-Management (STM) has helped hundreds of our patients gain control and understanding of their periodontal disease.
